SAP AG certifies the XI-Adapter PLM Integrator 2.0 for SAP NetWeaver®
Neumarkt, Germany (January 18, 2006) - The PLM Integrator 2.0 is a fully integrated adapter to the SAP NetWeaver® Exchange Infrastructure (XI) for third party PLM solutions.
This allows the direct access to business objects and services of external PLM systems within the SAP Enterprise Service Architecture (ESA) for A2A and B2B communication.
The module concept of PLM Integrator 2.0 enables online access to most third party PLM standard solutions like Teamcenter Enterprise, Teamcenter Engineering and shortly also Matrix10 and Agile PLM. It allows graphical value and message mapping and the usage of Business Process Management (BPM) technology within the Exchange Infrastructure.

The orchestration of even complex business scenarios across several applications involving third party PLM systems gets possible to support e.g. typical processes in sales departments, engineering labs, logistics and field service for companies in discrete industries.
